- Chobani Greek yogurt in containers coded 16-012 and the expiration dates Sept. 11 to Oct. 7 is being pulled from supermarket shelves due to "swelling or bloating" in cups.
- A common dairy mold is being pegged as a potential cause, and customer complaints on Twitter described the cups as being "unnervingly fizzy," like "yogurt soup," and tasting "really old" or like "wine."
- Chobani didn't reveal how many cups or what varieties were affected, issuing only a voluntary recall and asking that customers with the affected cups contact[email protected]for replacements.
