- Post Holdings, Inc. has announced it would source 100% sustainable palm oil globally by December 2016.
- Post doesn't use much palm oil to begin with for its products, but the company aims "to ensure its purchases of the ingredient do not contribute to deforestation of the world’s rainforests or negatively affect communities that depend upon them," Food Business News reported.
- Post is also a memberof the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, which focuses on supporting sustainable palm oil products. KIND LLC and Maruchan, Inc. aremembersof the organization as well.

Post said it intends "to work with its direct suppliers to support the development of a sustainable, cost-effective market for palm oil," Food Business News reported.
Other companies have jumped onboard the movement tosustainablysource palm oil throughout theirsupply chains. Earlier this year, ADM pledged its commitment tofight deforestationwith its palm oil suppliers, and just over a year ago,Cargill,Wilmar, and Golden Agri-Resource—the three largest palm oil companies globally—announcedthey would共同努力,停止砍伐森林.
